Las Conchas Perlas and Bistró (5a Avenida Sur #1) has the most interesting advertisement. Its advertisement line is "Tu búsquela de Perlas en esta ciudad ha finalizado!" My translation is "Your search for pearls in this town is over!" They mean both "cultivated" and "gastronomic" pearls. On its business postcard it shows a picture of a woman wearing pearls setting at a table lifting a fork full of pearls to her mouth. Yes, Las Conchas both sells pearls and operates as a bistro.
Prior to the dinner I had visited the restaurant with two friends to check it out. They had dinner there shortly after that visit, and recommended we reserve a table for Valentine's Day. The result was, we booked a table for eight for Valentine's Day dinner.
Now for some gastronomic pearls I present a brief sample from our Valentine's Day dinning table.

Two members in our party ordered from "the sampler menu". The sampler consisted of a five course menu. They both said it was very good. For more culinary insights check out the photos posted on flicker by Antiguadailyphoto.
Tripadvisor reviews should continue to be good for this gourmet restaurant. Check out the "cultivated" and "gastronomic" pearls at Las Conchas. This is a new restaurant and both its cuisine and advertisement creativity intriques me.
Feliz dia del Cariño!
