During a Spaswinefood visit to Paso Robles in June we checked out spa options. While Paso Robles has much to offer the weary wine taster, we chose to visit River Oaks Hot Springs Spa.
We called two days in advance to arrange a time. The staff was wonderful in accommodating the time we wanted. We scheduled the Winemakers Package for an end of the day visit.

When we arrived at The River Oaks Hot Springs Spa the check in went smoothly and was right on time. We were soon all settled in.

We started first with a soak in the hot tub.

The hot tubs are in private rooms. It was quite relaxing as we could look through the open window and see trees outside. Include with our package was a small bottle of wine.

After the hot tub time we had 60-minute massages.

After two hours relaxing hours we left. There is nothing like a visit to a spa or hot springs after a long day wine tasting. It was a special treat to take a break at a hot springs spa.
