Siitz Restaurant, Antigua: Breakfast-ing with a View

During our Antigua stay we have walked by El Covento many times and thought about checking out the Siitz Restaurant. Finally, we dropped in for breakfast. Wow! we just discovered one of the best views in Antigua for breakfast. El Convento's Siitz Restaurant has two seating options for dining (inside and roof top terrace). We selected the terrace for the roof top view. It was the right decision.

Setting there on the terrace with a beautiful view of Antigua the waiter served us great Guatemalan coffee and wonderful breakfasts. The service was excellent and the view picture perfect. The presentation of our breakfasts was also picture perfect. We were lucky enough to have our friend Paul Abravaya, a nature photographer with us. Paul took the following pictures:

You can to check out menu options other than breakfasts. LWH Hotels description of this gourmet restaurant and the outstanding skills of Chef Arlene are right on the mark. On Sunday's the restaurant offers an outstanding buffet. I need to return in the future to check out the buffet and dinner.

Tripadvisor reviewers give the restaurant great reviews.  El Covento Boutique Hotel also gets great reviews from Bales WorldwideCondé NasteKayak, Tripadvisor and others.

Siitz is a Mayan word meaning delight. In conclusion, there is one word to describe a dining experience at the Siitz Restaurant and that is delightful!

I invite you to join me in my travels in search of the best in Spaswinefood
