Siitz Restaurant, El Convento Boutique Hotel
We walked by El Covento many times before checking out the Siitz Restaurant. Finally, we did. Wow! we discovered one of the best roof top views in Antigua. Since our first visit we have dined at the Siitz Restaurant a number of times. We were always impressed with dining on their terrace.

El Convento's Siitz Restaurant has two seating options for dining (inside and roof top terrace). The terrace with its roof top view is the right decision. If you are looking for that perfect spot for romantic dining check it out.

At the Siitz you will not only get one of the best views in Antigua but you also find a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.

Meson Panza Verde Restaurant is another very special place to dine. No matter the time of the year, dining is always special at Meson Panza Verde. We have dined there since early 1990's. I always felt it is a special treat to return. At Meson Panza Verde you can choose from a number of setting options.

Other Special Locations
There are a number of other worthy considerations depending on the occasion. El Tenedor del Cerro, overlooking the beautiful Panchoy Valle, is certainly a restaurant with the best overall view of Antigua. The restaurant has great service, the food and wine is generally good. The downside it that it can but can be quite crowded with families and groups.

We have visited El Tenedor del Cerro Restaurant a number of times. We have found lunch time to be perfect timing for exploring what this unique site has to offer. There is no doubt that Casa Santo Domingo's El Tenedor del Cerro Restaurant at Cerro Santa Inés has an awesome view of Antigua and the beautiful Panchoy Valle. The grounds at Cerro Santa Inés are beautifully landscaped. Throughout the property you will also find a number of art installations, museum, chapel and conference/banquet facilities. It is the perfect place for a wedding. If you do not like crowds avoid weekends, especially Sundays when it is usually filled. Also, the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

There two other restaurants at resorts near Antigua that you might consider. They are Peragaminos at Finca Filadelphia and El Mirador Restaurant at La Reunión Golf Resort and Hotel. The Peragaminos at Finca Filadelphia Coffee Resort and Spa offers a special dining experience.

When we have dined at Peragaminos we have liked both the dining room and patio dining experiences. It is the elegance of this coffee finca makes it such a special experience.

If you like dining with amazing views then El Mirador Restaurant at La Reunión Golf Resort and Hotel is a unique experience. La Reunión Golf Resort and Hotel is less than 30 minutes drive from Antigua, Guatemala. Condé Naste Johansens recommends La Reunión Golf Resort and Hotel. It also gets amazing reviews on Tripadvisor. When Spaswinefood visited El Mirador Restaurant for lunch we chose a patio view overlooking the golf course. I was told that it has a view to the ocean on a clear day. It is without doubt that the dining view from the patio is stunning.
