Willamette Valley's Argyle Winery is home to some of Oregon's best known wines. Argyle
Winery founded
in 1987 has a history of producing high scoring Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling
and sparkling wines. Their world-class méthode champenoise sparkling wines make
them unique in a region where they also rank among top quality Pinot Noir,
Chardonnay and Riesling producers. Argyle winery and vineyards are LIVE
Certified. It was a beautiful summer's day when Spaswinefood visited Argyle Winery to taste their wines. Let's see what wines I tasted during my visit.
As you walk down the pathway to Argyle the space quickly fills with greenery and flowers. Once I entered the welcoming garden setting it enticed me to explore their wines.
Soon you enter the inner garden area where there are tables.
Then onto a relaxing veranda, just before you enter the tasting room.
When I visted Argyle's tasting room, on that beautiful August day, we tasted the following wines.

I must admit, I liked these wines. It was a hot summer's day; so Argyle's sparkling wines were really a big hit with me. Argyle Brut Rosé 2010 was my favorite. I was not surprised to discover that Argyle wines have received 11 Wine Spectator Top 100 designations, the highest of any Oregon winery. If you have a passion for sparkling wines then Argyle Winery is a must. While you are there do not forget to check out their still wines. They are good, too. Yes, all the wines do sparkle at Argyle Winery.
