Cacti, cacti spotting while checking out Scottsdale's restaurants, spas and Arizona wine

Visitors to Phoenix, Arizona will delight in exploring its culinary scene. The Phoenix area is a melting pot of culinary offerings where you will find everything from regional to global cuisine. Sure like most large cities you will find the usual assortment of restaurant chains. However, Phoenix is a place where foodies will enjoy exploring it's culinary offerings. When this Spaswinefood enthusiast arrived in town, at the top of the "to do list" is discover some of the best spaswinefood spots in town. Given that Phoenix is home to over 2400 restaurants we decided to focus on Scottsdale. Just in the Scottsdale area alone there are over 600 restaurants. Oh, yes! Don't forget to checkout the beautiful cacti, the spa scene and Arizona wine.

2. Cantina Laredo
When we arrived in Phoenix the concierge recommended a number of restaurants for lunch. We decided on lunch at Cantina Laredo.

Cantina Laredo is a good choice for casual dining.

3. Ristorante Arrivederci

Another restaurant that we tried was Ristorante Arrivederci for dinner.

If you like good Italian food then Ristorante Arrivederci is an excellent choice.

4. Arcadia Farms

While in town we had an awesome breakfast at Arcadia Farms.

From the breakfast menu we ordered the following:

Bagels & Lox, Arcadia Farms © Spaswinefood
Obviously it was impossible during a short visit to dine at all the restaurants. Other restaurants on Spaswinefood's short list for future explorations include: Bandera, Barrio Queen, Cien Agaves, Cowboy Caio, FnB, Mozart Café, Olive and Ivy, Roaring Fork and The Mission. For further restaurant suggestions see 10BestTripadvisorYelp and Urbanspoon. Spaswinefood would highly recommend that you read Eric Schaffer's critique of the Phoenix restaurant scene.

Don't Forget Spa Time

Just like the restaurant scene the Phoenix spa scene is equally challenging for selecting one to try. One of the spas we booked during our Scottsdale stay was the New Serenity Spa.

While in Scottsdale we stayed at the Sheraton Desert Oasis. We did a hot air balloon flight over Phoenix. Do not forget to check out all the fun things to do and see in the Phoenix area. Do try some Arizona wines while in Phoenix. Earlier in Arizona we took the time to explore Arizona's wine scene. Yes, the Arizona wine scene is exciting to explore. I invite you to join me in my travels in Southwest and elsewhere in search of the best in Spaswinefood.
