I always like an excuse to visit
Finca Filadelfia Coffee Resort and Spa; so when my friend Carol visited Antigua in late February, off we went. Given that we arrived at the finca around lunch time, we decided to check out the
Pergaminos Restaurant. The restaurant was busy with a large group for lunch. I asked if they would serve us on the patio outside the bar area. They were happy to accommodate our request.

We had a great lunch in a beautiful setting. While we did not order dessert, given that we were near the bar we ordered some great drinks. Overall the food was great and the service was excellent. A special thanks to the staff for accommodating us.

After a wonderful dining experience at the Pergaminos Restaurant, we visited Cafetenago to purchase
Finca Filadelfia's R. Dalton coffee. Finca Filadelfia produces one of the best coffees in Guatemala. I invite you to join me in my travels in Guatemala and elsewhere at
Spaswinefood, or you can visit my
travel column at the
Examiner.
