Cass Winery, Paso Robles

Paso Robles has over 180+ wineries. Paso Robles Wine Country is a good source for further information on Paso Robles wineries. The California Winery Advisor is a great source for overall information on California wineries and Paso Robles in particular. This Spaswinefood post will feature a popular Paso Robles winery, Cass Winery.  While traveling through Paso Robles Wine Country this summer I have heard great reports on Cass Winery.  In fact on the wine trail we encountered a wine industry person who recommended Cass Winery.  He suggested that it was a must visit; so we did.

Cass Winery
Spaswinefood  dropped by  Cass Winery 7350 Linne Road in June. The winery offers estate grown, hand crafted wines made from Rhone grape varietals that are ENTAV certified. ENTAV is a national French agency responsible for certification of grape varieties used in the wine industry.

The winery has a restaurant. The Cass Winery Café serves lunch 12 - 4 pm. Just outside the tasting room there is a patio area where food is served. You can also dine inside.

The tasting room was busy when we arrived. The wine servers suggested we take a table and they would serve us there. We did just that.

We tasted some great wines (see Cass Winery's tasting notes). Reviews of Cass wines by critics are posted on Cass's  homepage.  Snooth provides reviews of some wines. The winery has also linked blog posts. In addition, you can find visitors comments on Cass's homepageTripadvisor and Yelp.

The winery promotes dog adoptions. I commend them on this worthy project.

Each dog photo posted on the bulletin board has a story. The winery has also adopted quite a few dogs.

As I left I took a few more photos.
