Paris in the spring, it is hard to beat sipping wine with friends in Paris, in the springtime. After visiting France’s Champagne Region Spaswinefood and a friend spent a week in Paris. Given it is impossible to visit all the top wine bars in a week, I decided to savor those wine moments we spent at Bonvivant, and on our other wine sipping outings. Come along with me, as we sip French wines in Paris.

For sure Paris is the place for Champagne Moments! Besides Champagne it is also tops for sipping other French wines. The wine culture of Paris is hard to beat.

We began our Paris wine sips at Bonvivant.
Sipping Wine at Bonvivant
We (Carol and I) met with a friend at Bonvivant wine bar in the Latin Quarter for dinner. This was not just any friend, but Girl Meets Glass who lives in Paris. |

For dinner that evening we choose a Michel Gindrier biodynamic white wine.

I loved this wine, particularly how it evolves, from first to last sip. This was a super delicious wine from start to finish. We totally enjoyed our experience at the Bonvivant, and I would highly recommend it.
Paris Wine Adventures Continued
1. Passarito
After our Bonvivant outing our Paris wine adventures continued. A #winelover friend recommended that we visit Passarito, a wine bar, that offers Portuguese and French wines. Naturally, we went. |

When we dropped by for lunch we were not disappointed. |

We ordered a Buffalo Green Tomato Salad, and a Provence rosé wine from their wine list. |

I loved this rosé wine with the heirloom tomato salad. Later, I would discover that heirloom tomatoes with peaches pairs well with most dry rosé wines.
Perhaps, if time permitted I would have tried their Portuguese wines, many of which I know and love. |

This wine bar is a charming place. If you you are looking for a warm, cross-cultural wine experience in Paris, then drop by Passarito.
2. Other Wine Sipping Opportunities
Whether we were hopping on and off the metro, or walking through the Latin Quarter, or Saint-Germain neighborhoods, we enjoyed those random wine moments out and about in Paris.
When in Paris put Bonvivant on your wine sipping list. You will find that in Paris there is no shortage of other wine sips to add to your list. We enjoyed our visit to Ma Cave de Fleury. Go there for a different Champagne experience. Indeed it was a perfect timing for those Champagne Moments in Paris.Whether drinking Champagne, or sipping other French wines Paris in the spring never disappoints. This post is part of a series about our Paris wine adventures during late spring 2018. Typically there is plenty of sunshine, with occasional showers in the later afternoon, or evening.
